Big thanks to Chris Gray for nifty piece “50 Rad Things Now on the Sig’s Lagoon Walls”. Pictured left is another item on our walls - Jimi Hendrix’s amp net from a 1968 show in Fort Worth. It’s next to the autographs of the band, and a matchbook from Hendrix. Barnard was personally handed the whole amp cover at the end of the show – Jimi Hendrix Experience, Soft Machine, & Moving Sidewalks. After a melee of peeps trying to pry it from his clutches, he was left with a piece twice as big as what is displayed with other Hendrix items/posters. He gave the other piece to his friend for helping fend off the mayhem. What a pal!! Click on the Hendrix amp pic to link to the “50 Rad Things” story.
